W A Plating offers all rack and barrel plating and internal plating of tubing in the following:
Alkaline and Acid Zinc Plating with Trivalient and Hexavalient Passivation
WA PLATING offers electroplating using Alkaline or Acid Zinc with the different passivation eg Trivalient (Crome VI Free), Blue, Yellow and Black and also the Hexavalient (Chrome VI) passivation which is available in yellow, blue, olive drab and black. Corrosion resistance achieved using these coatings is up to 240 hours salt spray. Depending on the customer requirements, we also offer a sealant which will increase the corrosion resistance up to 480 hours salt spray on zinc plated parts.
Zinc Nickel Plating
WA PLATING offers this corrosion resistance technology using a combination of 88% Zinc and 12% Nickel deposits which can give a very high corrosion resistance of up to 1000 hours salt spray.
Corrosion Resistant Tin and Lead Plating
This technology is mostly used for our battery manufacturing customers.
Shot Blasting
Done on site for any components
Powder Coating & Wet Spray
A range of colours are on offer on all metal components. Prior to powder coating, the components are treated to ensure powder bondage and long lasting corrosion protection
Paint Stripping
This technology is mostly used for our battery manufacturing customers.
Zinc Phosphate
Zinc Phosphating is done using either a rack or barrel system. This is the perfect pretreatment for painted components as well.
Derusting and Descaling
This process ensures all parts processed are properly descaled and de-rusted as per the customer requirement.
Electropolishing of Stainless Steel
This process offers a superb chrome like finish on 304 / 316 stainless steel which achieves a mirror finish. We also electropolish stainless steel which include roll and nudge bars and components for the medical and pharmaceutical industry, vintage cars and motor bikes to mention a few.
